Dispersion of light often described as light diffusion in greenhouse covers refers to the scattering of sunlight so that it spreads more evenly rather than coming in straight harsh rays. Greenhouse covers with light dispersion properties (for example the 55 % diffused light film used in many greenhouse plastics) break up direct sunlight and scatter it throughout the space reducing hot spots and shadows. This even distribution allows light to reach more leaves and plant surfaces improving photosynthesis reducing plant stress and encouraging more uniform growth across your crop.
