Thematic overview of the Quran is a course focused on the fundamental themes discussed in the first five chapters of Quran. The course offers an expanded learning experience for the students of Quran; those who want to learn about Islam or Quran. This course will demonstrate the role a particular chapter/surah plays in the larger schematic structure of the Quran. For example, the first chapter, Surah Fatiha, introduces the author of the book. It serves as the preface or preamble of a book. The same surah mentions the purpose for the revelation of a new book, the Quran. This particular course is the first one in the series. It will clearly delineate the central idea of the first five chapters of the Quran. Historical background for each chapter is also mentioned. Each lecture video is in the form of a powerpoint presentation with AI dubbed voice over. Each slide in the presentation clearly outlines important topics mentioned in that chapter. In addition there are insightful discussions in the form of AI generated podcasts. From March 2023, I started working on this powerpoint presentation, Thematic Overview of The Quran. It took me two and a half years to reach chapter 102 of the Quran, producing 635 slides. For every chapter and particularly some paragraphs here and there I resorted to different classical exegesis (tafaseer) in English, Urdu and Arabic. The final product of this research work, now I'm presenting to you in the form of this first course in the series. This course covers the first five chapters of the Quran, containing 70 slides. I invite and welcome all dedicated and inspiring individuals who have a heartfelt desire to study the Quran and or Islam, in this course."This course contains the use of artificial intelligence." Artificial inteligence was used for voiceover dubbing and generating podcast from my own written notes.
