Welcome to the Pneumatics Course - Basic Level.
This course is designed for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of pneumatic systems and compressed air technology. If you are a technician, engineer, or someone interested in industrial automation, this course is a great starting point for you.
In this course, you will first learn what compressed air is and how it is used in industry. We will explain how a compressor works and how compressed air is stored in an air tank. You will also learn about the air preparation unit (filter, regulator, and lubricator) and why clean and controlled air is important in pneumatic systems.
After that, we will study different pneumatic components such as single-acting cylinders, double-acting cylinders, telescopic cylinders, rotary actuators, and directional control valves (3/2, 4/2, 5/2). You will also learn international pneumatic symbols and how to read basic circuit diagrams.
Safety and maintenance are important topics in this course. You will understand how to operate pneumatic systems safely and how to prevent air leaks and pressure problems.
In addition, you will install and use the FluidSIM simulation program. Together, we will build and simulate several pneumatic circuits step by step. After each simulation, we will analyze how the system works.
By the end of this course, you will be able to build simple pneumatic circuits, simulate them, and understand their working principles clearly.
